Original sports anime Backflip!! has announced that a film adaptation is in the works!
The release date and plot details are yet to be revealed.
Themed around rhythmic gymnastics, Backflip!! follows Shotaro Futaba, a student who joins the boys gymnastics club at his new high school, having fallen in love with the sport during the previous summer.
Animated by Zexcs, the anime ran from April 9 to June 25, 2021, with a manga series also currently running in Dessert.
