Seven years after its debut, adventure manga Golden Kamuy has officially entered its final arc!

While a specific end date hasn't been announced, the manga's official Twitter account confirmed that the series' conclusion began with Chapter 285, published in Weekly Young Jump on July 29.

In an official comment, original author Satoru Noda stated that he hopes to reach the end of the story with everyone, including both new and old readers.

Golden Kamuy has been serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump since 2014, picking up the Manga Taisho award in 2016 and the Osamu Tezuka Cultural Prize in 2018. The first and second seasons of the TV anime adaptation aired in 2018 while a third season followed in 2020.

Set in early 20th century Hokkaido, the series follows former soldier Saichi Sugimoto as he searches for hidden Ainu gold with a young Ainu girl named Asirpa, who is on a quest to avenge the death of her father.
