The stage play adaptation of comedy manga Bocchi the Rock! officially premiered in Tokyo on August 11!
Set to run until August 20 at Theater Milano-Za in Shinjuku, the play stars Mamo Mamono as Hitori Goto, Miki Ohtake as Nijika Ijichi, Karin Osanai as Ryo Yamada, and Mirai Ohmori as Ikuyo Kita.
The story follows that of Aki Hamaji's original manga, which began serialization in Manga Time Kirara Max in December 2017. A talented yet hopelessly awkward guitarist named Hitori Goto is given the chance to both follow her dreams and make friends after being invited to join Kessoku Band.
CloverWorks produced a TV anime adaptation that aired from October to December 2022 with 12 episodes.
Currently, the show has not announced performances in other cities, but fans in Japan can stream the last two shows set for August 20.
